Spooks Memorial Kitty

Every year, thousands of North American dogs and cats are euthanized because they don’t have a home. That’s why we need to reduce the number of litters born. The only way to do this is by making sure our pets are neutered or spayed.

We’re working with our community to eliminate unwarranted euthanasia in Nova Scotia.

Spook’s Memorial Kitty was established to help people in financial hardship to spay and neuter their pets. If you qualify, this program will offset some of the costs associated with spay and neuter surgery. Please contact Bide Awhile Animal Shelter if you would like to apply.
