Meet the newest shelter residents – our Bide Awhile Bees!
Working with Greenfield Hives & Honey, we have introduced our newest green initiative – a beehive to our shelter property. These bees will not only serve as a benefit the environment, they will also be greatly beneficial to the greenery and flowers in Trio’s Place Garden, a memorial garden where you can honour a loved one or pet.
Installed on the beehive are two cameras that livestream the bee’s activity 24/7. With a camera outside the hive and one on the inside – this gives you the opportunity to see and hear these busy bees working away producing their honey. Nova Scotia Webcams has been working with us to make this livestream happen, be sure to check out the livestream below or on their website!
