Male | 10 Year Old
Henry is a loving 10 year old male who is looking to find his permanent foster home through our Palliative Care Program. He spent the first 10 years of his life living outside as a stray, and it’s sadly taken a tole on his body.
Long ago, Henry broke his front left leg and it healed incorrectly due to being a stray. Unfortunately, he is unable to have surgery to amputate the leg due to risks with anemia. With proper pain medication, Henry is able to live a happy and healthy life where he can experience the joys of being an indoor cat.
Henry’s Palliative Needs:
- Gabapentin Twice Per Day (Pill Form)
- Metacam Once Per Day (Liquid Form)
Through this program, these cats are able to live out their best retirement days in the comfort of a home while still having their medical care provided by the shelter. Fosters are only required to provide food, litter, and love.
