At Bide Awhile we know the heartbreak of seeing animals that are too frightened to eat or have never known the joy of playing or purring. We know the difference a kind hand can make! That’s the tender loving care we give to each and every animal in our Shelter every day.

Running a shelter is a costly undertaking. Some examples of our costs are:

• → $350 to get one animal ready for adoption
• → $450 each month to provide litter for our cats
• → $600 to heat our Shelter and keep everyone – including our moms and babies – warm for one cold winter month.
