The 13th Annual Pet Photo Contest - New for 2010
This year marked the first year that Bide Awhile declared "all submissions are winners" through our Pet of the Day feature. That also meant for each day purchased through our Pet of the Day feature, the picture was submitted to our contest for a chance to win Pet of the Month. Not only do we have over 160 fantastic pet of the day pictures in this year's calendar but you'll see 12 of those as pet of the month. Bide Awhile is all about the animals - the 2011 calendar not only showcases those animals who were up for adoption but also your beloved pets who have been fortunate enough to find their forever home.
A huge thank you to the Chronicle Herald for their continuing support - they provided entry form space and ran a one page splash of our winners. Other returning sponsors like Global Pets Foods, C100, and Eastlink Communications offset contest costs and provide media coverage… thank you. We think the possibility of winning Pet of the Month is enough but Brier Island Lodge and Brier Island Whale and Seabird Cruises want to ensure we get as many entries as possible. That's why they provide a draw prize of a two night stay at their oceanfront lodge with whale and seabird boat cruise tickets. Our friends at Carsand Mosher Photographic are always happy to provide prizes like dry mount photos to four of our winners - thank you.

THE 12th ANNUAL PET PHOTO CHALLENGE 2009
The 2009 Photo Contest was another great success with close to $4000 raised in pet photo entries and sponsorship!
We are very greatful to have continuing support of The Chronicle Herald who ran a full page spread of the winners plus their online Fan Favourite contest. Chelsea and Crash were voted fan favourite.
Our great friends at Carsand Mosher, C100 and Eastlink have continued to offer their incredible support of this contest.
