I'm Found - Myah's Story

Hi Darrold,

Just a note to all my friends at BideAwhile to tell you how I'm doing. I have walked close to 60 km since I left the shelter (it will be a week on Thursday), I was introduced to a beach today with real birds that nearly drove me crazy, I swam and chased a ball, it was heaven. They trusted me off leash and I felt absolute joy. I go for drives in the car and I have my own big drop pillow in the car, a water dish and even treats when we have outings.

I'm doing very well with my leash training but it is hard because everything is so exciting. I am going to fly to Calgary at the end of the month and we will come home after Thanksgiving. I will even get to the Rockie Mts -- maybe I can chase a bear! Tomorrow I'll get my stitches out, that should be interesting.

Thank you to all of you, I couldn't be happier! Sorry there aren't any pictures from the beach but I was going just too fast. Maybe that is why I'm so tired tonight.
